A lot of the equipment in the studio is hand made. For example The ware board stand is an old canvas chair that gave way. I removed the old fabric, then applied a piece of plywood where the seat was. The plywood has several coats of polyurethane for water proofing. With the wheels still on I can move it to another location for other purposes. There is a desk lamp fixed onto the back.

The pottery wheel was purchased in 1978. I didn't make that.

About the Studio

This is my work station. It's constructed of plywood and 2X4s. It has swiveling wheels so I can move it if I wish. The work surface is covered with canvas. The upright area is holding the elements I use the most when testing glazes. The back section holds tools too. No space is wasted.

Here is the ole wedge table. It's constructed of 4X4s and 3/4 ply. There is storage on the bottom, of course. The cutting wire is piano wire. It does a fantastic job and lasts a very long time. Go to your nearest music store and buy a small spool.

Yes, that's a freezer next to the wedge table.
